Trip, yes, we often forget the beauty in life… or shall I be bolder to say the beauty in tragedy. As I write this, I’m waiting in my hotel room to head to my grandmother’s funeral where I’ll speak about her life. In the midst of watching my father mourn, there’s a great beauty emerging hearing the stories of her life and spending time with family. She made life full and lived it well in service of others. Far too often we forget to pause, ponder, reflect, and enjoy the little gifts God gives us.
