Trip, the man is an unknown, formerly dead male who was buried in the cemetery at the Mount of Olives. When Jesus states “I am He” he releases so much power it resurrects the man who begins to follow him after his resurrection. That’s what I was implying. The point about Lazarus is that it had been done before by Jesus, and the chief priests sought to kill Lazarus as they viewed him as a threat. Thus, it would make sense as to why they want to capture this man.
