I currently have 3 journals that all cost well beyond what I should have paid because I’m obsessive about layflat binding and quality paper. One is for spiritual musings, another for fiction writing and idea jounraling for articles, and a third (the most expensive) for planning my year, month, and week. The three shall never, ever touch… for on the day they do, they shall surely die (actually I’d just get confused about what goes where). Then I also have 5 different color pens (Ink Joys are my fav). Sometimes there’s a rhyme and reason to which color I use, but more often than not it’s because I feel it’s a brown or green day.

In short, I’m a hot mess. Case in point:
