I can concede this point. But it does beg the question, “Should we continue to feed the masses the clickbait pieces they demand, or the ones that make them think?” I believe there’s an inherent responsibility and beauty to writing words that matter, so I chose the latter, but alas, I can see your point.

Also, one thing you may want to try for a better reading experience on Medium is removing the amount of people you follow. 15.5K is a bunch and you probably get spammed hardcore by the algorithm. I only follow a little over 300 people and it’s been delightful. It also helps the algorithm know more of what I like. It’s not always great, but there’s some real gems sometimes.
