Damn. This shout out is mega humbling and I appreciate you sharing it with your readers more than you know as it was my most technical piece of storytelling to date, so that you loved it… well… hugs and massive hearts to you.

A few things to enhance your 2019 based on your review, however, Kris! totally unsolicited but hey, we read each other's work :)

Music:

Start Listening to The Midnight. I promise you’ll thank me (and start with their song “Sunset” then listen to “Jason”). Remember when you were a kid in the 80’s and they were magical? This is like getting transported back there. John Gorman will agree, or we’ll have to have a knife fight together here in Austin ;)

Books:

While I read my fair share of non-fiction I’d encourage you to get into more fiction! If you’ll read the Red Rising Trilogy by Pierce Brown and don’t become obsessed, I’ll buy the books for you. Seriously, it that good. The story is a eugenics-obsessed Roman caste-hierarchy meets the Iliad in space. Tell me that’s not awesome?

Spirituality:

Read one of my favorite books on the subject that’s not mega-Christian (cause everyone knows I’m a Christian, but hey whatevz). Blue Like Jazz: Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality Meditation is also awesome and I do it as well.

Health:

Keto makes me the fat kid. My body does not process fat well, but I’ve had friends who have insane results. If your body respond well, then that’s where you should keep headed. Paleo changed my life and got rid of chronic ailments I had most of my life. Mediterranean diet has worked for others. Le shrug. But keep with the intermittent fasting. I do it once a week and the stuff about alzheimer's (something on both sides of fam for me) is quite interesting.

Last:

If you’re going to tackle some topics, then I want to see you talk about dating in the 21st century, what’s gone wrong, and why everyone is so discontent. Sure you’ve talked about boundaries and dating and what’s unhealthy, but hook -up culture and everyone’s fascination with refusing to commit begs more insight. Curious on your perspective.

That’s it! Best to you in 2019
